2nd Draft: Decisions and Revisions

Finally, I have made some decisions and minor changes. Making second changes and revisions is helpful because it allows for improvements and corrections to be made, resulting in a higher quality final product. It also helps to catch any mistakes or oversights that may have been missed initially. Down below are some explanations of the changes I made to my products.

To begin with, my cover is the least I changed and will change in the future. First, I began with just the four articles on the right side, and then I added the other small "best of miami." and "Design Miami". The only thing that might be changed in the near future is the font of the title and subtitle. This is because the letters are fairly thinner compared to an actual title of a magazine cover, and they are somewhat harder to see with the background.

Now comes my table of contents. Me personally, I am happy to a certain extent with this TOC. This is due to some factors, like limitation of space. Although, I will not make any major changes to the information or design. There are small details that are not seen when you first look at it though. For example, the last article does not fit in the frame when downloaded, the article on the grey area on top stating " AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT: Adrian Baredes" is not centered to the middle properly, and the editor's note number of the article is not centered either.

Lastly comes the double page spread. I personally love this one. My classmate critiques in class stated I should most definitely leave it how it is. Although, some things I can change are the pictures, like for example change the format of how they are positioned. Moreover, the quote is mildly bothering the viewers eyes and where they should be looking. The main focus was supposed to be the main articles information and visuals, like pictures, but the quote is in the way.

Lastly, not many things have changed since my very first draft for these. Apart from minor changes, like stated before in the table of contents the last article does not fit in the frame when downloaded and also the article on the grey area on top stating " AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT: Adrian Baredes" is not centered to the middle properly, nothing will be changed.

Also, these are very close to my final ones, so I can preview how they will look like at the end.
