Representation is the constructed and mediated presentation of people, things, ideas, places etc. The reason why representation is significant in our society is because these movies can create an accurate representation that can open the audience to new ideas, create powerful role models, and even be inspirational.

This movie represents me a lot because i think it helps for the actors to feel like the spaces are lived in and real. Hustle, which stars Adam Sandler as an NBA scout who discovers a talented basketball player in Spain and prepares him for the NBA draft. Overall, the representations in this specific movie are amazing. For example, you cannot recognize the fact that it is a movie at one point, it feels so real. I believe a retired basketball player created the movie due to the fact that this might have been his case. In this movie, the creator Jeremiah Zagar Is very relatable because he grew up in dark places, like I grew up in a bad part of Argentina.

High School Musical is about a group of students in which most have their own problems. For me, I can really relate to this movie because it shows high school and how it is. The representations are most definitely not the same as real life. It is noticeable that no high school will start singing in the middle of lunch time. I believe that a teacher created this movie to show kids that high school is really not as bad as it seems. After thoroughly researching who created the movie, Peter Barsochinni, he was very professional and strict, like me and my school.

Pele: The Birth of a Legend talks about the early life of the famous soccer player Pele. He was a very humble person, always working as hard as he could to make his dream of playing in the World Cup true. For me, Pele as a person and soccer player are very alike. Overall, the representations are great because of the fact that this movie is very accurate. This movie is very relatable because Pele was a very humble person and the movie shows him like that. The creator of this movie is Jeff Zimbalist Michael Zimbalist, who I can relate to a lot due to because he was very academic.

In conclusion, it is clear that good representation is extremely important due to many things. It can be informative, it affects how individuals are perceived by others and perceive themselves, and it influences the conversation about real people, places, and experiences. These and other factors make good representation crucial.
