In class, we began making our own cover drafts. Drafting magazine covers is important because it allows for a visual representation of the magazine's content, helping to attract potential readers. It also provides an opportunity to experiment with different design elements, such as typography and color, to ensure the final product is visually appealing and effective. Down below are two of my first examples of my magazine cover.

This cover I personally like a lot. I created this cover using Canva. The explanation behind the picture in the cover was because of the colors of the background. Because the color palette is so light, like green and blue, this allowed me to use the texts as a dark color, like dark green, red, and black. The main picture that I wanted the viewer to see is the vintage camera and small pieces around it.

I believe this will be the cover I am going to use. This cover demonstrates a variety of warm colors, like brown, red, grey, and black. These colors all match each other, which is what makes this cover attractive. The main picture here is the bed and grey wall. The bed is setup nicely, with all pillows arranged in order to make the picture nicer.

Overall, the better choice of these two is most definitely the second one showing the bed and nightstand. The use of natural light definitely made it seem even better. Although both covers in my opinion were nice.
