In class, we began forming our first drafts for our double page spread. A double page spread in a magazine is important because it allows for a layout that can grab the reader's attention. It provides a space for images and text to be displayed in a way that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to read. Additionally, a double page spread can be used to showcase a particular product in a way that is more engaging than a single page.

This here is my first design for my double page spread. I made this with Canva, just like the other 2 components. I first began by producing the left page, which is the simpler one. I brainstormed how it will look like, and I came up with half of the text on the top on the left, along with the "Designing The Future". Then, I made an about 4-5 minute interview with the interviewee. After combining everything together, I used 3 pictures on the side for the finishing touches, and added a small quote that I asked the interviewee to come up with.

This double page spread is my second design. I also formed this using Canva. The two ideas are fairly similar, though this one has a changed title, different format, and a couple of different pictures. Although, the information is the same, like for example the interview, quote, second headline, page number, etc. I personally do not like this one more than the first, but it is my backup in case something does not work out or I change my mind last second.
Finally, I decided I am going to go with the first option. This is due to the fact that everything just looks visually pleasing. The pictures, quotes, fonts, positioning of everything. In my opinion, they all match together.
