Finally, I have reached a decision on my own final magazine cover. Down below, you will be able to see what decisions and revisions were made. You can see a side-by-side comparison of my first draft and the final.

Fistly, it began with the background image. I have not changed it due to the fact that blue is easy to match with white and black, which were my first options for the titles, subtitles, and articles I had planned. Then, a lot changed article-wise. I first planned 4 articles I brainstormed in about 5 minutes, which all of them changed after closely examining how a cover should have its articles. Moreover, the articles I came up acted as the place where the real articles would be in, to see how they looked like.
Moreover, I made a design that states "Design Miami", with the word "Design" in black, bold letters, and "Miami" in smaller, red letters. For this portion, not much changed about it except its placement. I changed it from the middle of the 4 articles to right under the subtitle. This choice was because the articles were too large to fit that in the middle, so to fit all in the frame, I believe that this was the best option on were to place it.
Lastly, looking at the smaller details, the dateline, which is "April 2023", was first on the blue portion of the background on a dark black color. This changed to a bolder white, and I placed on the dark left side of the frame, to make space for something else. To fit the "Design Miami" text, I had to move both the title and subtitle up by a small amount as seen above, and this can be seen when compared, and then, the last detail was the bubble that says "best of miami." was moved up barely by about half an inch to make the viewer focus on the main image of the vintage camera in the middle.
