In class, we began learning about props and when to use different types. Props are a very important component of magazines and photography because they help create a scene, support a visual concept or message, or add to the overall mood of a photograph. The right props can help to highlight features of a product, enhance the subject, add visual interest and depth to the scene.

To begin with, I will be using a variety of props throughout the production. For example, I will have very modern props. On example is this vintage camera which does not function but will be part of the set. Along with this, the props around it like the safe and the light next to it will be induced.

Moreover, I will be using synthetic lighting and natural together, depending on the mood I will want to set. I currently do have access to most of the equipment I will need. Along with that, I will take all of the images with my own cellphone, which is an iPhone 13 Pro Max. This iPhone will allow me to take images near to those a professional camera would. What makes it so good is that the camera focuses accurately and very quickly because it has negative shutter lag. Also, the image is captured even slightly before the shutter is triggered.

One small example are the shadows of the picture when using natural light. I will try to use more natural light since it lightens up the mood and it looks better. This should not be a large problem at all because it could be easily fixed with Photoshop.

You can see the shadows of the natural light on the painting, the small table, and on the TV.
