Location and Set

In class, we began learning and researching about where we should have our photoshoot. Using the best location is integral to the overall mood and effect of a photograph, and as such, it takes on an important role in planning your shot. Location can be a central theme to an entire photo series or project, which can help build the image’s narrative. Certain location setups may add an interesting perspective or new idea to a magazine.

For my personal photoshoot, I will use my own house, along with my uncle's and aunt's house. The reason why is because both of these houses are very modern and where constructed less that a year ago, so they are up to date. Both of these houses are in Aventura. I will not need permission from them either.

Although the photoshoot is indoors, I can foresee that I will be troubled with the natural lighting. What I can do to fix this is bring with me and extra light to cancel out the other lighting. Also, if a furniture breaks, I will move around the other pieces to try and create a better surrounding. These images on top display the problem I believe I will face. The painting and the TV reflect the light which then messes up the picture.
