Today in class we began researching and learning how to begin making our own magazine covers. We sketched and colored one, with mine shown below.

My masthead will be Baredes InteriorZ. It is a mix of modern words along with my last name.

Moreover, I added a skyline for example, and in my final cover I will not have any puffs like I do in the sketch.

My main color palette here is gray, green, brown, and black. These colors can represent various things, like for example green represents a light, 'Miami' sense because of the fact we live in a place where everything is covered by grass and trees. The gray and light brown were mainly used for modernity,

My idea was to build a modern living room in Miami by using the palm trees, ocean, and modernity. The color choices I believe were not the greatest because some do not match. Although, in my personal opinion I believe that it looks great; it is a description of how living in a modern house may feel like to some.

To add on, the table of contents/skyline choice of placing it on the bottom looked better than my first idea, which was placing it far right. Finally, the overall sketch looks great to me and the only thing I would change would be the mixing of colors and were to use the right ones.
