Currently, we began learning about what a proper table of contents is in class. After going to on the search of the best interior design magazines, I believe that I have found the three best of all. Below, there is one magazine focused on the beautiful Christmas spirit, one who focuses on modernity, and another which focuses on old furnitures. I believe these are great magazines.

Number of images: 4 images

Description of each image: The large image taking over the page on the right shows the interior of a house decorated with Christmas ornaments. The furniture is very modern. For example, the white couches add a touch to the living room and the design of the table. The picture on page 60 shows a small table with designer chairs around it. There are two big black vases on the table. The one on page 22 shows the server placing a cup, while the cover picture shows the interior of another modern house.

Comparing the sections:

As seen above, the sections can vary in letter fonts, sizes, components, and more. The first TOC has fonts which I personally like more compared to the other two. The second TOC has more sections that the other two and the letter colors are way different. For example, the colors in the first vary from blue black and green, while the second one is only composed of black and one small part that's red. The third table of contents is not my favorite. The author of the page only uses one color and the amount of sections is way less that the average.

Comparing the images:

When comparing the images of these table of contents, they have many similar components. For example, in the first TOC, the Christmas spirit is engaged, by showing the Christmas tree along the modern furniture and overall "winter feeling", while the second TOC shows pictures of ornaments and beautiful gifts, plants, and furniture overall. The third TOC shows pictures of a similar view like the second TOC. Both show various examples of nice furniture, like the wooden wardrobe, vases, etc.

Comparing the fonts:

The fonts in all of these are very nice but different. The first table of contents shows a variation of different fonts when compared to the second and third TOC. In my opinion, the best table of contents is the first when looking directly at the fonts. Colors, many different types of letters, and more. the third TOC has one same font for the titles and description of each, while the second has about 3 different types, one for the features, one for the description and also for the titles.

After closely examining each of these TOC's closely, I will have to say that my favorite one is the first one. These covers have their differences and similarities, like the first one is a two-page spread, which means it contains more information. The second one and third are the closest to each other than the first, since they both have the same format and show some of the same information. Also, all of these articles have the same idea of the title and a small description below it. In the first TOC, what works well is that they combined the pictures well with the writing, while in the second TOC what works the best is the splitting of sections into three parts instead of one large one like in the first and third table of contents. These can help me overall build my magazine's format and also give me an idea on what I can write too,
